I hadn't heard of strand bamboo but when I heard how hard it was, I had to take a look. This is a great floor and it looks awesome. I paid more but it was totally worth it. I don't expect I'll ever have to replace it. That pleases me greatly. - Perfection , 3/3/12 By Andy P

I have completed dozens of bamboo projects in the last 10 years and this is perhaps the finest and most beautiful floor that I have seen so far. The floor is stunning. The price is less than half of what I saw for hand scraped strand bamboo at flooring america and carpet one (although I got my Karastan at a local carpet one) and so this is perfection! - Nice Texture - Kind of Dark , 1/30/12 By Rex Deeter

This is a great floor and overall I am very pleased with the samples I received, but for me the color is too dark. The product itself is VERY tough looking and the brushing is amazing to see. I am looking for a lighter tone.
