Great choice overall , 9/10/12

We installed this floor about a week ago, and so far I am very happy with it. We intended to install it ourselves, but the job proved to be too much for us to handle. We ended up hiring some local guys who had experience laying laminate, hardwood, and the kind of vinyl planks with adhesive strips. They knocked it out far faster than we ever could have done. They were very impressed with the thickness of the planks & the ease of the click & lock edges. They also commented several times on how good it looks. It is really beautiful, in my opinion. I wouldn't mistake it for real hardwood, but it sure does look amazing for vinyl. We have 3 large dogs, and I think it will stand up very well to all the wear they can dish out.

The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the trim pieces (thresholds & t-molding for transition points) weren't available when I ordered. We ended up buying oak trim pieces and staining them to match as closely as possible. That solution is fine, but it would be better if they were the same product & color. I would take a half star off my review for that, but otherwise we are really impressed with the product and happy with the end result.

My mom used to have this awful vinyl parquet that didn't look anything like a wood floor. I mean, it was about as fake as you could get. I'm not even sure what the point was. This floor looks just like real hardwood and I've had several people ask if it's real. I haven't decided what to tell them.
