Natural, non-toxic, green flooring. All environmentally friendly, and all from renewable resources.
At iFLOOR, our mission from day one was to provide our customers with beautiful flooring without leaving an ugly footprint on the earth. When you sell as much flooring as we do, it’s easy to make a negative impact on the environment (and many do.) Rather than address it when it became a problem, we took the necessary steps to ensure that it would never become a problem.

Before iFLOOR purchases from anyone, our CEO and Founder personally inspects each manufacturing facility to see for himself that they meet iFLOOR's strict requirements. This means no toxic chemicals in surrounding rivers and streams, that worker conditions are above standard and that proper reforestation procedures are followed. We don't take these steps because "Green" is the new marketing buzz word. We always have and will continue to do so because it's our responsibility.

 Cork Flooring
What is cork?

Harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree, cork is naturally resistant to moisture making it perfect for use as flooring. It consists mostly of a waxy substance called suberin that prevents water from penetrating the cork tissue. This makes the use of cork flooring possible for installation in places where other flooring types are not advisable, while offering a one-of-a-kind look that will transform any room into a showplace.

 Recyclable Rugs
What are recyclable rugs?

Many rugs and carpets are made from nylon – a man-made product that will not break down over time. Concerned about the environmental impact of their products, Shaw Rugs implemented a nylon recycling program – and now makes all of their nylon area rugs out of recyclable nylon. In a revolutionary closed-loop recycling program, Shaw collects old rugs and carpets at collection centers throughout the country, processes them, and recycles the material into their new rugs.
Recycled rug collections: Antiquities, Mary Kate and Ashley, Jack Niclaus, Regal Heritage, and Kathy Ireland First Lady and Young Attitudes collections.

We’re tree huggers. (And proud of it.)

And we plant trees. Over the next 12 months, we’ll plant 100,000 trees world-wide through a partnership with Trees for the Future.
