Oak, one of the most common North American hardwoods, has been used
for centuries to craft durable furniture, homes, and floors. Oak is
naturally durable, and iFloor's special chemical finishes increase
the longevity of this hardwood. We start with several coats of
polyurethane to create a solid base, and finish with aluminum
oxide, a powerful chemical that keeps dirt and liquid out of your
floor while keeping the beautiful shine in. Our finishing
techniques mean you get a floor that won't stain and is easy to
clean. Traditional oak brings a lovely warm color to any floor, and
our planks are no exception. The classic grooves and swirls of oak
wood are preserved, but the hassles of working with this hardwood
are removed for you. iFloor's Golden Oak planks are 3 and 1/2
inches wide and 3/4 of an inch thick.

By Stephen A. Denver, CO - There’s no replacement for oak hardwood in my book. I put this in my study in about three hours. If I had known it was this easy or inexpensive to put new hardwood in, I would have done it years ago. It also has a much better finish than the other hardwoods in the house and is easier to clean. The new stuff is a lot better than the old stuff. I’ll eventually replace it all and will do it all here.
