New development in British Columbia uses laminate flooring
New development in British Columbia uses laminate flooring A pair of proposed developments in British Columbia is aiming to provide an affordable housing option in Vancouver. According to The Province, one section of the developments, a 22-story highrise, went on sale in late May and almost all of those units have already been purchased.
"Affordability is key in this equation," industry expert Bob Rennie told the news source. "The views are great. You can see water from the third floor; - those views would be much more expensive downtown."
The abodes were thought up by interior designer Ada Bonini, who emphasized the price of the spaces while at the same time maintaining an appealing contemporary appearance. Bonini told the news source that she included composite stone countertops and laminate flooring in the bathroom and kitchen to keep the prices affordable.
Homeowners looking for a cost-efficient way to improve the appearance of their home can consider installing laminate flooring as well. TLC.com reports that the material offers a durable, versatile design option because it can be manufactured to mimic the appearance of a wood-grain floor.
