This gives us a tremendous advantage over the competition in both the quality of the source materials and their cost. By controlling the harvest we ensure the process is carried out in the most environmentally friendly way possible, while also controlling the amount of time from harvest to manufacture. A lot can happen between the harvest and the factory that can change the quality of a floor, and we feel better when it never leaves our sight. In order to compete, many factories use inferior, off-brand finishing systems that greatly reduce surface quality and also harm the environment.
