This marbleized cork flooring is sure to inspire the decorator in any of us. This floor gives you all of the angles and natural shading of cork, showing you all of its aesthetically appealing traits. More than aesthetics, this floor performs valuable functions. A thick layer of cork that’s been treated with durable aluminum oxide is attached to a recycled HDF core. Attached to the underside is cork underlayment, and the result is a floor that feels warmer, is more comfortable to walk on and sounds better while you’re doing it. The 12” wide, 36” boards come equipped with a click locking system and are very easy to install. The large boards make the subfloor disappear more quickly than you might anticipate, and you’ll be done before you know it.

Used in a 12' x 14'... , 2/15/12
By D. Giacoia: Used in a 12' x 14' future playroom. Beautiful! An unexpected plus to picking a "Natural" is very little difference in color from box to box. Only negative was as a DIYer, clicking in the pieces was sometimes very hard and other times easy. There was no way to predict. Hit too hard and the edge gets damaged. Also, the final floor is beautiful but the seams can be felt. I am concerned about the long term wear of these seams. Or maybe they will they flatten out with time. I planned to do the entire main floor of my house in cork sometime in the future. I will use this room as a test for wear before I proceed. I ordered 10% extra, had very little waste (even boards I damaged got used in areas where I needed a cut piece) but only had 2 full boards left over. Don't skip ordering that 10% extra. You will need it. Note to ifloor. In your DIY section you should mention the blade that should be used for cutting product. My local store told me to use a fine toothed blade and it was a nightmare. It constantly bound.
