We bought this thinking it would be quieter and we also like that it's green. We're really big on recycling and even composting. We actually saw a slight difference in our electric bill because the floor is so well insulated now. We had a couple of issues. We were a box short but they corrected that immediately. I had a tough time around the hearth but it's a unique situation and required some intricate cutting that I'm not qualified to do. Of course, I did it anyway before hiring someone who knew what they were doing.
