This engineered bamboo floor has a high impact resistant HDF core and a thick layer of strand woven bamboo on the surface. Attached to the bottom is high quality flooring underlayment, which means a faster installation time. Combined with the Uniclic locking system, you have maybe the easiest of all floors to install. Perfect floor for families

By S. Washington - It looks great, was pretty easy to install and I have no doubts it will last a long time. It cost a little extra, but I know it will be well worth it in the long run. I have a huge family, 3 big dogs, four cats (yeah I know lol) so durability was a major factor for us. Strand bamboo is a Godsend.
