The Chinese have cultivated bamboo for centuries to make decorative homes, beautiful furniture, and even paper. Modern globalization has made bamboo flooring available to consumers who need an exotic, beautiful option for a sunny or light-colored room. Traditional bamboo is hollow and not strong enough for flooring material, but iFloor's bamboo planks are 3/8 of an inch thick and strong enough for even heavily trafficked rooms. The traditional colors and patterns of bamboo wood are preserved in our planks, and our coating materials keep your wood safe. We use six layers of polyurethane to strengthen and preserve our bamboo wood planks, keeping the material glossy and protecting it from dirt and spills. Our planks are 38 inches long and 3 and 3/4 inches wide. Our bamboo can be nailed or glued to your subfloor.

By Toby U. - I wanted something thicker and tougher, but my budget could only afford this. It is ok for the money, but i would have prefered a 1" oak instead of this. Oh well - champagne taste, beer budget

By Janice Cullen - We couldn't decide on a natural bamboo look or a stained bamboo look, then you have vertical, horizontal, etc. We ignored all that and just picked the one that went the best with all our stuff. I think we did good and I know we paid the right price. I'm a happy customer.

I put this floor in a brand new module home..6 months later there was a house fire, no fault of the house. The roof and half way down the walls totally destroyed, 8+ inches of burnt roof,ceiling,insulation, water, covered the rugs and floor.Since it was March in upstate N.Y.temps were way below freezing, everything on the floor froze...rugs to the floor, a foot of debrey, solid.When it all melted, we pulled the rugs back off the floor, and to everyone's great surprise, no kidding, the floors were fine!!!!!We wiped them off and it looked like nothing had happened. REALLY. So to any of you wondering about the reliability of Bamboo flooring....It's amazing!!!!Use it!!!
