Vinyl flooring can be a versatile design option
Vinyl flooring can be a versatile design option Designing a house can sometimes leave homeowners at a loss as to what to do. However, thanks to some interior designers in Vancouver, people in British Columbia are being treated to some free advice, the Times Colonist reports.
According to the source, there are a number of suites on display that offer ideas on aspects of design from color and furnishing to lighting and accessories. Although the suites can provide some creative choices when it comes time to design, experts warn that trying to duplicate them can lead to disaster.
"A display suite is set for a particular look, to show how everything coordinates together. But sometimes a beautiful element such as a vase on a side table may not be the best idea in a house with active children," designer Deborah Patterson told the news outlet.
Those who cannot make it to Canada to take in the designer suites may want to consider installing vinyl flooring. The World Floor Covering Association reports that vinfl flooring provides homeowners with versatile flooring option because it can mimic the look and texture of stone and hardwood flooring.
