Imitate hotel's renovations with bamboo flooring
Imitate hotel's renovations with bamboo flooring Thanks to some ambitious designers, the Woodlands Waterway Marriot Hotel and Convention Center is getting a lavish renovation. The Woodland Villager reports that the building is undergoing $6.2 million worth of improvements on its 336 rooms and its 60,000 square foot convention space.
Sheron Jones, the director of sales and marketing for the hotel, told the news source that the designers are incorporating a woodsy-themed motif throughout the building. The improvements will encompass everything from new colors to new furnishings, and Jones says the guests should appreciate the changes.
"I think it will make it more comfortable for the guests, more productive and more energizing," Jones told the news outlet.
Homeowners who are looking to add a wood-themed feel to their own living space can do so by installing bamboo flooring. While the floor covering boasts a similar aesthetic to hardwood, and is available in a wide range of finishes to match a variety of interiors, bamboo flooring has additional benefits.
According to the TLC.com, there are few flooring options that are more sustainable than bamboo, and the eco-friendly floor covering is also extremely durable.
