Click Solid Bamboo Flooring is an floor that is easy to install as well as environmentally friendly. The flooring comes in pieces that are 3 ½” wide and 5/8” thick. The other measurements are 16 pieces that are 36” long and 4 pieces that are 72” long in each carton. The bamboo is first carbonized by pressurized heating which heats the sugar in the wood causing it to turn a dark amber color. The flooring is then made by attaching a layer of carbonized bamboo to re cycled HDF, or High Density Fiberboard. The flooring is very durable and long-lasting. This particular flooring has a horizontal pattern that follows the horizontal cut of the bamboo. It has been carbonized to a rich deep brown color. It has eased edges which contribute to its ease of installation as the boards click together into a secure locking system. This is a beautiful floor that is simple to clean and maintain.
