Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba) is an exotic hardwood flooring with a rich medium reddish-brown color. Imported from Bolivia, the wood makes a durable flooring that adds warmth to a room. The Brazilian Cherry strips are engineered by binding wood fibers to form strips that meet national or international standards. Then, the strips are UV cured to improve scratch resistant qualities and improve the wood's gloss. The low gloss strips have a 3 1/4 inch face and are 3/8 inch thick. Their eased edge and ends make them easy to install on a surface either by floating, gluing, or nailing to sub-flooring. The strips come in random lengths and have an aluminum oxide finish to extend their life, slow down fading, and seal against oxidation.

By Sammy T. - WA - These guys know what they're doing. You won't beat the price on an exotic floor of this quality. I'll never buy a floor anywhere else. The shipping is a cost you usually don't incur when you buy a floor but the savings more than makes up for that. I actually hope it gets a little darker. We'll see....

By Justin - This is a great floor especially for the price. If you like Brazilian Cherry you'll love this. Of course it has gone dark over time, but they say that is all part of the character of the floor. I still like it.
